Lemon Pickled Gherkins
Our gherkins are harvested young and hand-sorted to keep only the small gauges, the ones that stay crunchy after processing. They are pickled in a clear vinegar brine, lifted with Moroccan lemon slices and natural spices.
The brine is set at 4% acidity: enough for preservation, restrained enough for the lemon to remain perceptible. This sets the product apart from the classic sour gherkin, whose shelf it nonetheless shares.
In strong demand on European and Middle Eastern tables, as a side and as a garnish. Available in glass jars for retail and in industrial packs for foodservice; gauge, spices and format can be adjusted under private label.
